21 People Have Died Due To Coronavirus In Country

In the last 24 hours, 21 people have died due to coronavirus in the country. At the same time, 2,199 people have been identified as affected by Corona.

The total number of deaths in the country is 3 thousand and 132 people. The total number of identities is 2 lakh and 39 thousand 860 people.

Additional Director General of the Department of Health Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana gave this information on Saturday (August 01). The Department of Health regularly conducts online briefings on the coronavirus situation in the country.

Professor Nasima Sultana said samples from 8,808 people were tested in the last 24 hours.

She said 1,117 more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of one lakh 36 thousand and 253 people have recovered.

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
