Corona Of 14 More People In Chandpur District Has Been Identified

The corona of 14 more people in the district has been identified.In Chandpur, 14 more corona were identified on Saturday, the day of Eid. Of these, 3 are from Matlab North, 1 from Kachua, 3 from Hajiganj and 7 from Shahrashti.

On the same day, 27 people in the district were released from corona and recovered. Of these, 12 from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Matlab South and 13 from Faridganj have recovered.

With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 1845 people. The death toll was 75.

This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. Sources said 33 reports came in on Saturday (August 01). Of these, 14 reports are not positive. The remaining 19 reports are negative.

The current upazila-wise statistics of 1845 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 723 in Chandpur Sadar, 210 in Faridganj, 199 in Matlab South, 185 in Shahrasti, 179 in Hajiganj, 144 in Matlab North, 127 in Haimchar and 78 in Kachu.

The upazila-wise statistics of 75 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 10 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Saturday was 6734. There were 6704 reports. 30 reports awaiting. He added that out of 1845 affected people in the district, 1157 have already recovered. 613 people are under treatment.

So far, 619 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 597 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 22. Besides, the total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 10,641.

Of these, 7903 people got clearance. At present there are 2738 people in home quarantine.
