22 People Have Died Of Coronavirus In Country

In the last 24 hours, 22 people have died of coronavirus in the country. At the same time, 886 people have been identified as affected by corona.

The total number of deaths in the country is 3 thousand and 154 people. The total number of identities is 2 lakh and 40 thousand 746 people.

Additional Director General of the Department of Health Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana said this on Sunday (August 02). The Department of Health regularly conducts online briefings on the coronavirus situation in the country.

Professor Nasima Sultana said 3,684 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. So far a total of 11 lakh and 89 thousand 295 samples have been tested.

She said 586 more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of one lakh 36 thousand and 839 people have recovered.

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of a coronavirus.
