Health Minister said, ‘Coronavirus patient does not exixt in the country’.The pandemic of the Corona virus has not yet come to Bangladesh in several countries, including China. Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek has said that no coronary virus has been found in Bangladesh yet.
He said this at a press conference at the Secretariat on Tuesday, January 28.
The Health Minister said that special precautions are being taken wherever the Chinese live in Bangladesh. Citizens from China have been monitored at two levels. There is no reason to panic. But everyone has to be careful.
The Health Minister now urges Bangladeshis not to go to China for unnecessary work. The vaccine has not been discovered yet, he said. However, he requested to go to the hospital if he had fever and cough.
He asked the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police all over the country to inform the ministry if any patients were found.
Zahid Malek said there are 300 students in China, they are not attacked, they are safe.
Minister of Health Zahid Malek held an inter-ministerial meeting with representatives of different ministries before the press conference.
