In Chandpur 800 prisoners got the Coronavirus vaccine. Inmates of Chandpur District Jail have been vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine.
Prisoners Vaccination activity started at 9 am on Wednesday 22nd December and continued till evening.
The program was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Anjana Khan Majlish.
Chandpur Civil Surgeon Md. Shahadat Hossain said, “The vaccination program was started to prevent corona infection among the inmates. Nearly 800 people vaccinated on this day are mostly male prisoners.
Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Sajeda Begum Palin and Prison officials were also present there at the time.
