At Matlab one more death due to corona symptoms.Gias Uddin Sarkar(58) of Matlab Uttar Upazila in Chandpur, died at 10:00 pm on Saturday with corona symptoms. Gias Uddin Sarkar, son of late Habibullah Sarkar of Chhota Haldia village in Farajikandi union.
Matlab North Police Station OC Mohammad Nasir Uddin Mridha and SI Ibrahim provided security for the bath and burial of the deceased.
The body of the deceased was bathed and buried by the volunteer team of Islamic Movement Bapangladesh (Charmonai). Dr. Jasim Uddin, a member of Farajikandi Union Corona Awareness and Prevention Committee and Harish Mahmud Dwipan and Bapak Sarkar of Chhota Haldia village provided overall support.
Matlab North Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Nusrat Jahan Methen said burial has been completed in compliance with health rules.
