George Floyd(46) an African-American man, was arrested in Minnesota on May 25 and tortured by white police officer Derek Chaovin. It killed former basketball player George Floyd.
Citing an autopsy report from a private company hired by Floyd’s family, the BBC reported that Floyd had died of asphyxiation.
According to the family’s medical report, Floyd died of asphyxiation due to pressure on his throat and neck.
The whole of America was abuzz with protests after the death of George Floyd. The raging movement of angry people against racism is not stopping. Curfews have been imposed in at least 40 US cities to deal with the situation.
The National Guard has been deployed to quell the protests. On the night of May 29, the movement turned violent in the capital, Washington DC. President Donald Trump was at the White House as protesters threw bottles and brickbats from the north gate of the White House.
At night, Secret Service personnel took him to a bunker below the White House. President Trump spent the whole night in that bunker.
