Alamgir Kabir Patwary has taken a place in the public mind as the designer of modern Hajiganj to Born in the village of Mokimabad in Hajiganj. His mother and father’s favorite nickname is ‘Alamgir’. Currently, he is known as Alamgir Sir. Especially due to the good prayers, affection and absolute love of his grandfather, father and mother, his talent, mind, education, work, courage,and proper leadership, he is a hardworking, patient, talented, creative, honest and idealistic personality. Today, he is an educationist, founding principal of Model College, Motwali of Hajiganj Big Mosque, district teacher leader, author of numerous articles on national and regional issues, dreamer of Hajiganj Press and Rotary Club, renowned as the architect of modern Hajiganj and educationist principal Dr. Md. Alamgir Kabir Patwari. He was born in 1957 in a respectable Muslim family in the village of ‘Mokimabad’ in Hajiganj.

Alhaj Ahmad Ali Patwari, founder of the historic Big Mosque and Ahmadiyya Darul Uloom Kamil Madrasa and Waqf Estate, died. Is – his grandfather or grandfather. In his school life, he was an expert in writing poems, publishing wall paintings, and art and was a talented student. He was always patient,compassionate, tolerant, prudent, self-confident, patient, thoughtful, and philanthropic in any work. Currently, he is a progressive political personality of the country. He achieved success in all good works for the development of Hajiganj.

As in every subject, there is a context. Similarly, an organization or an institution, with the aim of establishing itself, gradually moves towards a larger scope or scope based on any reason or subject. A person is awarded an honorary title for his outstanding contribution to education, religious and social activities, contribution to education, business and commerce, employment creation, etc. In that judgment, educationist principal Dr. Md. Alamgir Kabir Patwari was described as the architect of modern Hajiganj by some prominent people of Hajiganj. Hajiganj is now the heart of the district’s businessmen. Along with this, there is a huge work effort, thought-consciousness, labor-sweat, coordination of talent, work-planning, unlimited patience and the intention of moving forward slowly by facing the chapter of paving the way for friends.

After the death of Alhaj Moniruzzaman Patwari, the former Motawalli of the Big Mosque, the founder of the small and industrial merchant society of Hajiganj, since 1985, Alamgir Sira has been performing the duties of the historic Big Mosque of Hajiganj, a traditional institution of the estate of Alhaj Ahmed Ali Patwari. In the context of time and space, he got the opportunity to work at different levels of Hajiganj. Institutions or organizations are formed in the context of necessity. Hajiganj Market Traders’ Association is no exception. There is also a long background in the formation of the Market Traders’ Association.

The Hajiganj Bazar Traders Association was not formed in the normal process like most associations. And the final result of the gradual process of the most unstable political environment was the formation of the Hajiganj Bazar Traders Association that day. In the political crisis, the financial condition of the market traders and the service management issues of the unique service institution, the Big Mosque Complex, were equally linked. In view of which, he had to dream of forming the association as a shield from the problems in the political crisis of the business community at that time. While thinking about realizing his dream, he had to walk the path of many friends.

In that context, Haji Hazrat Moniruddin Monai Haji R. of Hajiganj established a small market centered on the Big Mosque centered on the shop built as a prophet in the Sunnah, which is today’s Hajiganj Bazar, Hajiganj Municipality and Hajiganj Upazila and Hajiganj Railway Station, and many more. Here, a police station, post office, sub-registry office and postal bungalow, etc. have been established, creating a path for thousands of people to explore.

Today is 2025. Even 30 years ago, if we talk about the side of the C & B road – Station Road to the west of the big mosque and Thana Road to the east, on the canal side, Tinpatti, Hali Patti, Dhan Patti, Post Office, Boaljuri Canal, on the south side of the road opposite the mosque, a huge Sadhana Pharmacy, more than a hundred cubits long. To the east of it, there is a house for chow-chala lep matshak, tin municipality office, shops, the famous Bainya Patti i.e. merchant patti, goldsmith patti, vegetable patti, fish market, turmeric-pepper patti, betel nut, white betel nut, etc., large mattress stores.

At one stage, the business association was established and started moving forward to work towards its desired goal.
