Two more died in Corona in Chandpur, newly identified 110. In Chandpur, two people died in the corona isolation ward within 21 hours. The death toll in the district has risen to 132.
According to hospital sources, a woman named Ahida Begum (58) died while undergoing treatment at around 2pm on Sunday. He was corona positive. His home is in a small beautiful village in Algi Panchgaon area of Chandpur Sadar upazila.
On the other hand, Titu Khan (45) died while undergoing treatment at around 4.50 pm on Saturday. He was admitted to Sadar Hospital around 12 noon that day. His sample test report at night came back positive. He is a resident of Hamankardi area of Shahtali area of Chandpur Sadar upazila.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, July 11, out of 295 samples, 110 corona were identified. The detection rate was 38.28%.
According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, the new victims include 54 from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 3 from Matlab South, 3 from Matlab North, 7 from Hajiganj, 16 from Faridganj, 26 from Shahrashti and 1 from Kachua.
On the same day, 39 people were declared healthy. Of these, 19 are from Chandpur Sadar, 4 from Faridganj, 2 from Hajiganj, 4 from Haimchar, 2 from Matlab South and 8 from Shahrasti.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 6276 with new cases. The death toll has risen to 132.
So far 5139 people have been declared healthy. At present 1015 people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 58 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of the hospital. The rest are in home isolation.
