Inauguration of direct flight from Sylhet to London.Biman Bangladesh Airlines has launched Sylhet-London-Sylhet direct flight.
State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali inaugurated the flight at Sylhet Osmani International Airport on Sunday (October 04) morning.
Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Tanvir Ahmed confirmed the matter.
He said the flight with 232 passengers would leave Sylhet Osmani International Airport for London at 11:15 am.
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen was present as the chief guest.Also present as special guests were Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed, Chairman of Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Air Vice Marshal M Mofidur Rahman and Chairman of Biman Board of Directors Sajjadul Hasan.
Sylhet residents can buy scheduled flight tickets directly to London from Biman’s mobile app, all sales centers, travel agents, Biman’s website and Biman’s call center (01777715613-16).
