A fire broke out at a garment factory in Narayanganj port. The fire broke out at a garment factory called Jahin Textile in Madanpur of the Upazila around 5 pm on Friday.
No casualties have been reported so far.
It is learned that 10 units of fire service are working on the spot to control the fire.
Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of the Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defense, said the fire had spread rapidly.
Upon receiving the news, 10 units of different stations of the district are working to control the fire. There were no immediate reports of injuries or severe damage.
