Faridul Haque Khan Dulal will take oath as state minister of religion

Jamalpur-2 seat (Islampur) MP Faridul Haque Khan Dulal is taking oath as the state minister of religion. If all goes well, he will take oath at Bangabhaban on Tuesday evening, November 24.

He will be given the responsibility of state minister of religion.

Confirming the information, Additional Secretary to the Cabinet Division Sultan Ahmed said, “The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 7 pm.”

On the other hand, Bangabhaban sources said that preparations are underway for the swearing in of a person as a cabinet member on Tuesday evening.

Since the death of State Minister for Religion Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on June 13, Ministry of Religion has been without a minister.

In this regard, Islampur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Jamalpur SM Mazharul Islam confirmed this matter and said, “Faridul Haque Khan Dulal MP of this constituency elected from my upazila, is taking oath on Tuesday evening.”

Faridul Haque Khan Dulal is an elected member of the Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad from Jamalpur-2 constituency (Islampur) on the nomination of Bangladesh Awami League. He is the president of Islampur Upazila Awami League.

Faridul Haque Khan was born on 2 January 1956 in the village of North Sirajabad in Islampur upazila of Jamalpur district. His father’s name is Md. Habibur Rahman Khan and mother’s name is Mosammat Fatema Khanam.
