The first dose of the coronavirus vaccine has been extended for another two days. As a result, vaccinations will continue till February 28. This decision has been taken due to the interest in vaccination across the country including the capital.
Additional Director General (Planning and Development) of the Department of Health, Professor Meerjady Sabrina Flora, confirmed the information, saying the decision to extend the vaccination campaign was taken in view of the public interest in getting vaccinated. Health Minister Zahid Maleque will give details to the media in this regard.
As per the earlier announcement on Saturday, February 26, a program is underway to vaccinate 10 million people across the country, including the capital. Countless people across the country are flocking to the centers for the first dose of vaccine.
