Maldives Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid is coming in Dhaka on Monday for a four-day visit. He is coming to Bangladesh at the invitation of Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen.
The Foreign Ministry said in a press release on Sunday.
According to a press release, bilateral issues will be discussed at a meeting between the two foreign ministers.
During his visit to Dhaka, Shahid will pay a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Besides, a memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed between the Foreign Service Academies of the two countries at this time.
A number of MoUs are expected to be signed between the two countries on direct shipping, fishing, manpower exports, trade cooperation, etc.
