Freedom fighter want to sell kidney to save the boy in Hajiganj!Abdul Mannan Patwary, a helpless freedom fighter of Hajiganj in Chandpur, wants to sell his kidney to save the boy studying at Jahangirnagar University.
The son of Shahid Uddin, is suffering from liver cirrhosis. 5% of his liver is damage as untreated. But, unable to afford medical expenses, Annie is on the verge of death.
Annie is the younger son of freedom fighter Abdul Mannan Patwary of Malapara village of Dudsgram union of the upazila. He is a student of the Department of Finance and Banking at Jahangirnagar University. Currently undergoing treatment at the Bardem Medical College Hospital.
He has been advised to seek medical treatment at Madras Hospital in India for better treatment. But in the sense that it is not possible.
Therefore, the freedom fighter father has came to the journalists seeking the cooperation of the government, administration and the people.
Later he added , ‘I have had bypass surgery. Me and my son have spent around 7-8 Lacs tk .Now I am helpless.’
