National River Conservation Commission Chairman Majibur Rahman Howlader, environmentalist Ashish Pal, eminent music artist Azad Rahman, Prof. Motahar Hossain, bird expert Enamul Haque and Jasim Uddin spoke on the occasion.

Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton nominated for the ‘Environment City Award’ for his outstanding contribution to the protection of nature.
The minister said, “Beautiful Bangladesh is now becoming a densely populated country in the world.Nature is being destroyed in the name of industrialization and civilization. We are inhumane to nature. We are turning ourselves into a dangerous species day by day. ”
Hassan Mahmud said that about 150 species are being extinct from the world every day. In it we will be protected and nature will be good. ‘
The minister thanked the organizers for organizing such a fair since 10 years to protect nature.Later, the minister inaugurated the fair by flying birds and balloons.
On the occasion, Khairuzzaman Liton urged the government to formulate a national policy to protect the country from the adverse effects of climate change.
