The hanging body of a young man was recovered in Hajiganj.In Hajiganj of Chandpur, a young man was found hanging from a mango tree.
Police recovered the body of the youth from Swarna village of Bakila Union No. 2 of the upazila on Tuesday noon. Initially, it is known that in the family quarrel, the auto rickshaw driver Md. Rabbi (28) committed suicide.
According to local and police sources, Rabbi committed suicide by hanging himself in the garden of Majumdar’s house in North Sreepur of Bakila Union. Initially, the police got the idea that the rabbi survived the family quarrel.
Mostafa Kamal and Ramiz Mia, residents of Uttar Sreepur village in Union, said the rabbi who committed suicide was not known to anyone in North Sreepur. Behind everyone, he committed suicide with a mango tree in a garden behind Majmudar’s house.
Officer-in-charge of Hajiganj Police Station Harunur Rashid said an unnatural death case has been filed in this regard. The matter will be known after investigation.
