Home quarantine in Cumilla.In Comilla, the number of people in the total home quarantine stands at 870. Within 24 hours, 286 people were kept in a home quarantine in 17 upazila of Cumilla district. Cumilla Civil Surgeon Dr. Niyatuzzaman said they returned from Italy, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan.
Meanwhile, a mobile court has fined two people for not quarantining their home quarantine in Comilla. One was fined on Thursday night in Dawadkandi upazila of the district and another in Lalmai upazila.
Nur Uddin (Nur Islam), a son of Mostaq Bhuiyan, who was from Qatar in Gopchar village of Dingkandi upazila on Thursday night, was not at home quarantine.
Other officials including Dr. Md. Shahinur Alam Sumon, Dawakandi Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer were present.
On the other hand, a mobile court has fined another Bahrain resident for violating a home quarantine in Lalmai upazila of Cumilla.
