3,868 people identified in 24 last hours as corona infected: 40 people died.In the last 24 hours, 40 people have died of coronavirus in the country. At the same time 3,868 people have been identified as affected by Corona.

The total number of deaths in Corona in the country is 1,661 people. The total number of identified is one lakh 30 thousand and 474 people.

Additional Director General of the Department of Health Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana gave this information on Friday,June 26. The Department of Health regularly conducts online briefings on the coronavirus situation in the country.

Professor at the briefing. Nasima Sultana said samples from 18,498 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The highest test in one day has been done today. Samples were tested in 66 labs. So far 6 lakh and 96 thousand 941 samples have been tested.

She said another 1,638 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 53 thousand and 133 people have recovered.

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
