Professor Nasima Sultana said samples from 18,099 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The highest test in one day has been done today. Samples were tested in 65 labs. So far 6 lakh and 30 thousand 897 samples have been tested.
She said another 1,409 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 55,227 people have recovered.
The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
