Corona of 449 more people have been identified in one day in Chandpur. The total number of samples collected on this day was 943. The sample detection rate is 47.61%. Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office sources said. Sources said the samples were collected throughout the day on Wednesday. Reports were received at night.
According to sources, 98 of the new victims are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 33 from Hajiganj, 13 from Faridganj, 62 from Matlab North, 69 from Matlab South, 37 from Haimchar, 29 from Shahrasti and 108 from Kachua.
On the same day, 125 people were declared as corona-free. Of these, 41 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 9 from Faridganj, 17 from Hajiganj, 13 from Matlab South, 22 from Matlab North, 3 from Kachua and 20 from Shahrashti.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 11,448 with new cases. The death toll has risen to 162. So far 7333 people have been declared healthy. At present the number of patients undergoing treatment is 3933. Of these, 132 are hospitalized. The rest are in home isolation.
