In Chandpur, the corona of 18 more people including 6 members of the same family identified.The number of Covid-19 patients has increased by 18 more in Chandpur district. Among them are husband and wife who died a few hours apart in Chitralekha area of Chandpur city and 1 person of Shahrasti. Besides, corona of total 12 new members of the 6 same family member(staff of district council) of Chandpur city has been identified in the district town.
The information was given by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Wednesday afternoon, May 20. The total number of patients affected by corona in the district stood at 94. The death toll rose to 8.
Earlier, his wife Rabeya Begum(72) and husband Mujibur Rahman Patwary died at their home in Chitralekha area of Chandpur town around 8:00 pm on Monday, May 18 and at around 5:00 am in the morning,May 19.
“My mother died at her home in the Chitralekha area of the city on Monday night,” said Anwar Habib Kajal, assistant director (PR) at Daffodil International University, the son of the deceased. Then at 3:30 am. I was buried at my village home in Hossainpur of Ashikati Union and came to the town house. An hour and a half later, my father died at around 5:00 am on Tuesday. My father Mujibur Rahman Patwary was a retired officer of the Public Works Department.
According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, the number of corona cases in Chandpur district has risen to 94. Of these, 8 died and 16 recovered. The rest are undergoing treatment. The district-wise statistics of 94 people affected by corona in Chandpur district at present are: 52 in Chandpur Sadar, 10 in Faridganj, 6 in Matlab North, 5 in Hajiganj, 5 in Matlab South, 4 in Kachua, 4 in Shahrasti and 2 in Haimchar.
