In Chandpur 4 Launch And Passengers Fined

The mobile court was conducted on Saturday by the Executive Magistrate of the Department of Marine and Safety of the Bangladesh Shipping Department. Rezaul Karim.

Al-Amin, a passenger from Laxmipur, said, “I left my mask at home.” I thought I would buy a mask on the way. I was fined 300 taka for forgetting my mind and entering the dock without buying Max.

Besides, 15 passengers have been fined for not wearing masks. A total fine of Tk. 49,500 has been imposed.

Chandpur Port and Transport Deputy Director Kaysarul Islam said, A fine of Tk. 15,000 has been levied on the Rough Rough-2 launch for carrying extra passengers and Tk. 5,000 for expiration of master documents.

He added that the passengers who arrived at the launch dock were fined Tk. 300 each for not wearing masks.

Deputy Director of Chandpur Port and Transport Kaysarul Islam, Executive Magistrate of the District Administration Office Imran Hossain, members of the District Police, Naval Police, Armed Police and Coast Guard were present to conduct the mobile court.
