5 people died due to corona symptom in Chandpur.Five more deaths have been reported in Chandpur due to corona symptoms. Of these, 3 are in Chandpur Sadar and 2 in Hajiganj. The deaths occurred from midnight on Saturday to Sunday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Mojibur Rahman(65) of Chitralekha Mor in Chandpur Sadar upazila, Billal Sheikh(42) of Chapila village under Balia union and AH Rashid Akhand(70) of Dasadi village under Kalyanpur union.
Among them Billal Sheikh lived in Dhaka. A few days ago, he came to his village Chapila from Dhaka with fever. He did not tell anyone about his symptoms. He died on the way to Chandpur Sadar Hospital at 9:30 pm on Saturday. Health department sources said that preparations are underway to collect his samples.
Besides, Mojibur Rahman of Chitralekha area of the city died at around 5:00 am in the morning. His samples will be collected, health department sources said. He will also be buried in a special arrangement.
Besides, A. Rashid Akhand of Dasadi village of Kalyanpur union was suffering from fever for last 5/6 days. He died at half past one last night. He was buried in a special arrangement in the morning. However, samples could not be collected.
A representative from Hajiganj said that father Siddiqur Rahman (70) died three days after the death of his son Nurul Amin in Balakhal of Ward no. 2 of Hajiganj Municipality on Sunday morning.
Besides, Maulana Shah Alam Chowdhury (75) of Dherra Chowdhury Bari of Hajiganj Municipality 3rd Ward died of fever and cold at 3:00 am on Saturday. Preparations are underway to collect samples till the writing of this report.
Shariful Hasan, a member of the burial team in Hajiganj Upazila, said two people were reported dead by Sunday morning. First I will go to the janaza of Maulana Shah Alam and then to the janaza of Balakhal Siddiqur Rahman.
