In Chandpur District 32 People Identified As Corona Infected

Corona hotspot Shahrasti: 32 more people identified as corona infected in the district.The corona of 32 more people was identified in Chandpur district on Wednesday. Of these, only 17 are from Shahrasti, 13 from Chandpur Sadar and 2 from Haimchar.

Among the new victims are two who died of symptoms in Chandpur Sadar and Shahrashti. The information was given by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Wednesday morning.

With this, the total number of patients affected by corona in the district stood at 752 people. The death toll is 49.

Meanwhile, many people including police representatives and health workers are not getting relief from Corona’s chobal in Shahrasti. Recently, several UP chairmen of the upazila have been infected with corona and one has died.

At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 652 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 267 in Chandpur Sadar, 84 in Shahrasti, 74 in Matlab South, 66 in Hajiganj, 63 in Faridganj, 36 in Haimchar, 33 in Matlab North and 29 in Kachu.

The upazila-wise statistics of 49 deaths in the district are as follows: 14 in Hajiganj, 13 in Chandpur Sadar, 6 in Faridganj, 5 in Kachua, 5 in Matlab North, 4 in Shahrasti and 2 in Matlab South.
