In Chandpur District 5 People identified As Corona Infected

The number of people affected by corona in the district including 5 new people increased to 1,236.

5 more corona positive reports came in Chandpur on Friday. Of these, 4 are from Matlab South and 1 from Chandpur Sadar. This is the lowest number of corona test reports received in a single day in Chandpur in recent times.

With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 1,236 people. The death toll is 66. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.

According to sources, 11 reports came on Friday, July 10. Of these, 5 reports are not positive. The remaining 6 are negative.

At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 1,236 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 482 in Chandpur Sadar, 147 in Matlab South, 144 in Faridganj, 128 in Shahrasti, 117 in Hajiganj, 90 in Haimchar, 77 in Matlab North and 51 in Kachua.

The upazila-wise statistics of 66 deaths in the district are: 19 in Chandpur Sadar, 16 in Hajiganj, 9 in Faridganj, 8 in Matlab North, 5 in Kachua, 5 in Shahrasti, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat ullah further said that a total of 5,347 samples have been sent from Chandpur till Friday.

He added that out of 1,236 affected people in the district, 669 have already recovered. 501 people are under treatment.

So far, 438 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 385 have already received clearance. At present there are 53 patients in isolation. Besides, the total number of home quarantine persons in the district is 8,205. Of these 5,947 have received clearance. At present there are 2,258 people in home quarantine.
