9 operation conducted to prevent Jatka killing in Chandpur.Chandpur District Administration, Fisheries Department, Naval Police, Coast Guard, Chandpur Sadar Fisheries Department, Haimchar Fisheries Department, Matlab North and South Fisheries Departments have conducted 9 operations and 6 mobile courts in the last 24 hours.

Information has been given from the monitoring cell of Chandpur District Fisheries Department till 5 pm on March 8.

In this, 1.127 MT Jatka, 4 lakh 60 thousand meters current net has been seized. Its current value is 92 lakh taka. The jatka have been distributed to local orphanages. Besides, 6 regular cases have been filed and 25 have been sent to jail. Has collected a fine of 1 lakh 4 thousand taka.
