There is a lack of teacher: PM.A meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved the setting up of 329 technical schools and colleges (TSCs) at the upazila level. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed the chairperson of the ECNEC meeting to send them abroad for training if needed to appoint skilled teachers in these educational institutes.
The Prime Minister gave the directive at the ECNEC meeting on Tuesday, January 21. Planning Minister MA Mannan said this after the meeting.
Pointing to the Prime Minister’s direction, the Planning Minister said, “The new technical school and college (TSC) project has been approved at the upazila level, teachers should be given.” The teacher is clearly lacking. For this, teachers have to be trained. The quality we train … So train teachers by crash program. If necessary, send teachers abroad. A few hundred, but I do not mind. Let’s get training soon. ‘
The minister made his statement, saying, “There is a danger to him (the Prime Minister).” In many places after the construction of the government, it is seen that there is no man, no chair, no bench, no machine. It must be avoided. It doesn’t happen here (in the new technical school and college project). I am building 329 technical schools and colleges. She wants it to be ready from the construction of machinery, chairs, tables and teachers.
In today’s ECNEC meeting, the project was approved for setting up of 329 technical schools and colleges (second phase) at the upazila level. The government will spend tweenty thousand five hundred and tweenty five crore sixty nine lacs taka. This work will be implemented in the period from January 2020 to December 2024.
Highlighting the other directives of the Prime Minister given to the Eknake, the Planning Minister said, “The Prime Minister said today that waste management in the industry has to be strengthened. Establishment of CETP (Central Waste Refinery) should be done if needed. And keep the reservoir near, so that it can provide water if there is a fire. If there is a fire, there is often no water available. Soil has to be cut for development work. The ground will become a reservoir. ‘
