Monday, December 8, 2025 is Chandpur Liberation Day. Chandpur was liberated from the invaders on this day in 1971. A special program has been organized by the Chandpur District Administration at 10 am on Monday to celebrate the day.
A notification issued by the general branch of the District Commissioner’s Office said that the program for the day includes paying homage to the brave martyrs at the Liberation War memorial sculpture ‘Angikare’ located on the Railway Lake on Shaheed Muktijoddha Road in Chandpur city.
