Four mega projects are coming to Chandpur.Four mega projects are being implemented in Education, Health and Justice Department.These are Chandpur Medical College Building, Chief Judicial Magistrate Building.Textile Engineering College Bhawan & Institute of Health Technology Campus.

A credible source told the ‘Chandpur Times’ on December 26 that Chandpur Public Works Department has proposed to implement the projects in the fiscal year 2020-21.

According to the sources, the proposal has been sent to the Public Works Department, setting aside the estimated cost of taka 1600 crore for the buildings of the Chandpur Medical College Campus.

A project proposal has been received for the construction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate building on the 10th floor, which will cost taka 40 crore. It is likely to be in the court premises.

An engineering college campus has been proposed to accept project proposals at a cost of taka 500 crore. It will be established in Shahrastha Upazila.

A proposal has been submitted for the possibility of setting up of the Institute of Health Technology on the north side of Baburhat market and a proposal has been sent to the upper division of Public Works Department.

If this project is implemented then there will be huge improvement in education, health and judiciary in Chandpur district.Public works department has already announced the implementation of these projects.Proposals have been made to the authorities which may be accepted in the next 2020-21 years.
