Today is December 4.On this Day,Matlab became Independent.The Pakistani Forces were defeated and dispersed from the soil of Matlab.On April 8,the Pakistani army came to Matlab from Dhaka through highway. They occupied the station and set up their camp. They indiscriminately assassinate ordinary people and carry out mass killings.
During the war,Pakistani troops and their foreign allies burned 5,000 houses in Enayetnagar village and took away the dignity of many women.The freedom fighters bravely attacked the occupants by building five bases in Khidirpur,Bahuri,Baganbari, Mohanpur and Enayetnagar areas at Matlab.
