Nor’wester may occur some region of the country.Today, there is a possibility of storm over six regions of the country. The Meteorological Department said this in its forecast on Thursday, May 14.
According to the forecast for the inland river port of the country till 1:00 pm, winds of 45 to 60 kmph with temporary rain or thunderstorm may blow from Rangpur, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Cumilla and Sylhet areas from the west or north-west. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The weather forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said the sky may be temporarily partly cloudy. The weather can be mainly dry. The wind may blow from the south or south-west at a speed of 8 to 12 kmph. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
