Obaidul Quader called on the rich to come forward.Human civilization faces a crisis today. The whole world today is horrified by the deadly coronavirus. Every day people are losing their lives. At this moment of crisis in the world, I call upon the affluent people of the society to cooperate.

The Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridge minister Obaidul Quader said these at a virtual press conference on Friday March 27.

Obaidul Quader said, you will not be intimidated. The overall situation of Bangladesh is still relatively in control, with the grace of the Almighty. Together with patience, responsibility and patriotism, all of you must work to prevent this deadly virus. Awareness and alertness should be built from house to house.

He said she was taking all possible preparations to protect the people. In addition to the existing health care services in our country, support is also being received from friendly countries.

The minister said, in the meantime, our neighboring state India and China have come to the side of the people of Bangladesh. Medical treatment for people with coronavirus has arrived in Dhaka by special airline and more medical supplies from China will arrive in Bangladesh in the next few days. “We want to assure all the doctors, nurses and people of Bangladesh that the government of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina is taking all preparations to prevent and control coronavirus infection,” he said.

Calling for rumors, Obaidul Quader said, “You will not listen to any rumors.” For accurate information, follow the official instructions circulated through the prevailing media, such as television and radio-newspapers. Contact the government-directed hotline number if needed.

Speaking to the party leaders, Awami League general secretary said, “I urge all the Awami League leaders, especially the local public representatives, to stand by the people, besides the government.” Taking all the Awami League leaders and public representatives in their respective areas, I urge the local administration and the army to cooperate with the government’s compliance with hygiene.
