Onion-Garlic production target in Chandpur is 14 thousand MT

The production target of onion and garlic in Chandpur is 14 thousand MT.In the current 2020-21 financial year in Chandpur, the production target of onion and garlic in 7 upazila except Shahrashti is 14,652 MT and the target for cultivation is 1,728 hectares.

This information has been given in a report of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Khamarbari, Chandpur, on November 4, in a report on setting the planting and production target of the annual seasonal rabi crop of 2020-21.

Of this, onion production is 11,055 MT and cultivation is 1,228 hectares. Garlic production is 3,600 MT and cultivation is 500 hectares.
