Per capita income $2,591

The per capita income has risen from $2,554 to $2,591, said Planning Minister MA Mannan.

The minister made the remarks at a press conference after the ECNEC meeting on Tuesday, February 8.

The minister said the final gross domestic product (GDP) for the fiscal year 2020-21 is 416 billion dollar. Per capita income has risen from $2,554 to $2,591. The GDP growth rate has been 6.94 percent.

Earlier in the morning, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) was held. ECNEC Chairperson Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.per capita income $2,591
