Profit of the state-owned banks in Chandpur is Tk. 64 crore

Profit of the state-owned banks in Chandpur is Tk. 64 crore. Sonali, Agrani, Krishi and Janata Bank have 93 branches in 8 upazilas including the district headquarters of Chandpur district. Except for a few of them, all of them are branches. In the financial year 2020-21, it has earned Tk. 64.62 crore.

Meanwhile, there are more than 100 branches of 24 private banks in the district.

According to the regional offices of the concerned banks, Sonali Bank received Tk 14.39 crore, Krishi Bank Tk 32.83 crore, Janata Bank Tk 8.23 crore and Agrani Bank Tk 9.7 crore.
