Program of International Mother Language Day in chandpur.A preparatory meeting is held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner to celebrate the Great Martyr’s Day and International Mother Language Day 2021 in Chandpur. Deputy Commissioner Anjana Khan Majlish presided over the function.

During the meeting, 1 district committee, 8 sub-committees were formed, 26 decisions and 9 separate programs were taken in compliance with all the hygienic conditions and in a short range.

The sub-committees include wreath-laying, discussion, observation of national flag, decoration of Shaheed Minar and roads, commentary, overall management and cultural sub-committee.

International Mother Language Day will be observed in line with the government program. Therefore, everyone’s cooperation has been sought to make this event a success in a beautiful way.

The decisions include: On the occasion of Mother Language Day, a cultural program will be conducted under the management of Shilpakala Cultural Practice Center from 20 to 21 February. A wreath was laid at the central Shahid Minar in Chandpur in the early hours of February 21 to pay homage to the language martyrs.

On 20th and 21st February, the new market road of the city, Angikar Parddesh, Central Shahid Minar Chattar, Shapath Chattar, Ilish Chattar, Chitra Lekha Mor, new bus stand and other roads will be decorated with Bengali alphabets and festoons. Various social and cultural organizations of Chandpur and educational institutions of districts and upazilas have taken up the program as per the government instructions.

Program of Chandpur Press Club:

According to a press release issued by Chandpur Press Club, Chandpur Press Club has undertaken various programs on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day.

The program includes wreath-laying at the Chandpur Central Shahid Minar at 12:01 pm on the first morning of Ekushey, hoisting of the national flag at the Press Club building in the morning and a discussion meeting and cultural program organized by the district administration at the Shilpakala Academy auditorium in the evening.
