832 mm rainfall across country including Chandpur

According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, 832 mm of rain has fallen across the country in the last 24 hours. The Meteorological Department had earlier predicted rain across the country on Eid day. According to the meteorological office, it will start raining in different districts of the country from morning.

This information has been known in the forecast of meteorological department signed by meteorologist Tariful Newaz Kabir on Tuesday, May 03.

According to the Meteorological Department, Dhaka, Tangail, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Nikli, Mymensingh, Netrokona, Chattogram, Sandwip, Sitakunda, Rangamati, Cumilla, Chandpur, Maijdicourt, Feni, Hatia, Cox’s Bazar, Kutubdia, Sylhet, Srimangal, Badalgachhi, Tarash, Khulna, Mongla, Satkhira, Jessore, Chuadanga, Kumarkhali, Barisal, Patuakhali, Khepupara, and Bhola received 832 mm of rainfall.

As the rainfall increases, the temperature also decreases by about 2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 36.3 degrees Celsius. Today it has come down to 34.4 degrees.

According to the weather forecast, in the next 24 hours, Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal, Chattogram, Sylhet, and many parts of the Dhaka division and some parts of Mymensingh and Rangpur divisions will experience thunderstorms with rain.

At the same time, daytime temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged and nighttime temperatures may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological office further said that the humidity in Dhaka this evening was 76 percent, which was 54 percent yesterday.
