The Meteorological Department said this in its forecast for the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday (August 06).
Temporary gusts of 45 to 60 kmph from the south-east of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Kushtia,Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Cumilla, Noakhali, Chattagram and Cox’s Bazar. There may be rain / thunderstorms as well.
River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The weather forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be partly cloudy. There may be rain / thunderstorms. Winds of 10 to 15 kmph can blow from the south / southwest, which can be temporarily 30 to 40 kmph.
Daytime temperatures may remain unchanged. In the last 24 hours, the rainfall in this region has been 1.9 mm.
