Meteorologist AKM Ruhul Quddush said the extension of the monsoon axis extends to Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, and southern Bangladesh to Assam. An extension of it extends to the North Bay. The monsoon is moderately active over Bangladesh and moderate over the North Bay.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusts is likely in many parts of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, and Chattogram divisions and some parts of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. At the same time, there may be moderate to heavy rains in some parts of the country.
