Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the corona vaccination program. The Prime Minister inaugurated the program at Kurmitola Hospital through video conference from Ganabhaban on Wednesday, January 26. With this, corona vaccination activities were officially started in the country.
With the inauguration of the Prime Minister, five people were vaccinated at Kurmitola Hospital.
Before taking the vaccine, the Prime Minister asked nurse Runu Berunika Costa (the first vaccinator in the country), “Are you scared? Good luck to you.”
Then four more people were vaccinated one by one.
Health Minister Zahid Maleque addressed the inaugural function. Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office Tofazzal Hossain conducted the function.
