Storms are expected in all parts of the country today. The river ports in eight regions have been asked to display the number two naval warning signal and the river ports in the rest of the region have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
The Meteorological Department has given this information in the forecast of the inland river port of the country till 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 24.
According to the forecast, Faridpur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar areas will be temporarily affected by rain or thunderstorms with a speed of 60 to 80 kmph from south or south-east. River ports in these areas have been asked to display the number two naval warning signal.
Temperate gusts of wind with rain or thunderstorms at speeds of 45 to 60 kmph from the south or southeast over other parts of the country. River ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
The forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be temporarily cloudy. There may be rain or thunderstorms. The wind can blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour. Which can temporarily blow winds of 30 to 40 kmph. Daytime temperatures can usually remain unchanged.
