The Meteorological Department has forecast storms in seven parts of the country today. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
This information has been given in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday (October 18).
According to the forecast, gusts or wind of 45-60 kmph may blow temporarily from Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar from the east or south-east.
There may be rain or thunderstorms. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
Besides, the forecast for Dhaka and its adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be temporarily partly cloudy. There may be rain or thunderstorms. The wind can blow from the east or south-east at a speed of 8-12 kmph. Daytime temperatures may decrease slightly.
