According to the Meteorological Department forecasting inland rivers from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, it will rain at 45 to 60 kmph from Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar. Winds can blow. River ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
Meanwhile, Dhaka has received 23 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. According to the forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm today, the sky may be partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy. There may be light rain or drizzle. The wind can blow from the south or south-west at a speed of 8 to 12 kmph. Daytime temperatures may rise slightly.
