TCB will sell onions from September 13.Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will sell onions at affordable prices on September 13. According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Commerce today, TCB has made maximum preparations for the import and sale of onions.
A meeting of the task force committee of the commerce ministry decided to sell onions at affordable prices through truck sales in the open market to keep the supply and price of onions normal.
The meeting also decided to continue selling onions at affordable prices till new onions come on the market. According to the Ministry of Commerce, the government will take strict action in accordance with the law if there is any attempt to increase the price of onion through illegal stocks or artificial crisis.
