Instruction to administration to ensure students’ at residence.The government has directed the local administration and all concerned to ensure the status of all students in their homes till March 31 to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection worldwide. The Education Ministry has directed the district administration and the police super strictly to implement it.
The information was released in a press release signed by Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education Mohammad Abul Khair on Wednesday,March 18.
The notice said all schools and coaching centers have been closed from Wednesday March 18 to March 31 to protect students from coronavirus infection. At this time, parents were requested to ensure that students stay at home.
However, it is noticed that many students and parents are traveling around the place treating the holiday as a normal holiday. Even many are traveling to Cox’s Bazar with family. The same order has been directed to close the coaching center, but it is reported in the newspaper that some coaching centers are continuing their coaching activities. The Ministry of Education is concerned about this.
It added that this increased the risk of coronavirus infection in our students and across the country. The Ministry of Education has been re-written to all concerned to take necessary steps in this regard.
The district administration and the superintendent of police have been instructed to arrange for the students to be sent to their homes if they see them walking down the street. Besides, parents should be urged to ensure the children’s home.
