48 More People Died Due To Coronavirus In Country

In the last 24 hours, 48 people have died of coronavirus in the country. At the same time, 2,695 people have been identified as affected by Corona.

The total number of deaths in Corona in the country is 3,083. The total number of identities is 2 lakh and 34 thousand 889 people.

Additional Director General of the Department of Health Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana gave this information on Saturday (July 24). The Department of Health regularly conducts online briefings on the coronavirus situation in the country.

Professor Nasima Sultana said 12,937 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. A total of 11 lakh and 64 thousand 195 samples have been tested in 82 labs so far.

She said 2,668 more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of one lakh 32 thousand and 960 people have recovered.

Of the 48 dead, 41 died at the hospital and one died at home.

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
