The Education Minister said that due to Corona situation, 2021 SSC and HSC examinations have been arranged in a short syllabus. That is why the university admission test will also be organized in a short syllabus.

The minister said the University Grants Commission has been instructed to take the short-term syllabus for next year’s university admission test. They will make a decision in this regard after meeting with the vice-chancellors of the public universities.

Asked about the increase in GPA-5 and pass rate in SSC and equivalent examinations this year, the education minister said, “Due to special circumstances, three subjects have been examined in the short syllabus this year.

The rest of the subjects have been assessed on the basis of the JSC/JDC examination. That may be the reason for the increase in the pass rate of the two indices. It cannot be said that the quality of education has increased.
