The people of Chandpur has been celebrated victory day.The day was started through raising the national flag,rally and 31 times artillery fire.
Ministry of Education Dr. Dipu Moni (MP) .Deputy commissioner Majedur Rahman Khan,Superintendent of Chandpur Police Mahbubur Rahman,Zila Parishad chairman Ochman Goni Patwary and various political organizations and social activists shows respect to the martyrs and valiant freedom fighters.
Chandpur district administration organized a youth rally at the stadium at 9 in the morning. Later students of different educational institutes performed physical activities.
Besides, Friendly Football Tournament was held in the afternoon at Chandpur Stadium.
