Vitamin A Campaign in Chandpur: Target of 3 lakh and 17 thousand children.The 2nd round of the National Vitamin A Campaign will also start from September 26 in Chandpur. The campaign will run for eight days, four days a week. All other times it is one day but this time it is being done due to the outbreak of coronavirus across the country.

A source in the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office said on Monday, September 21.

Vitamin A plus capsule will be given to 3,17,303 children aged 6-11 months and children aged 12-59 months in 2,339 centers in 276 ward of 89 union in Chandpur.

The campaign is being held all over the country simultaneously. The time has been extended so that the children can be brought to the center and given vitamin A capsules so that they can follow the hygiene rules and if anyone suffers from corona symptoms including fever and shortness of breath, they can recover and come under the vitamin A campaign.

In this Vitamin A campaign, all children from 6 months to 11 months will be given a blue Vitamin A capsule and all children from 12 months to 59 months will be given a red Vitamin A capsule.

The Chandpur Health Department has set a target to bring more than three lakh children under the national vitamin A campaign in Chandpur district.
